NVIDIA announced Tegra 4 Processor
NVIDIA introduced Tegra 4 processor at CES 2013. It is World’s Fastest Mobile Processor according to NVIDIA. Tegra 4 features quad-core processor along with a fifth low power core to save battery life. This new processor has 72 GPU cores, this is 6 times graphics processing power of existing Tegra 3 processor. Tegra 4 is build on 28nm process which helps it consume 45% less power than Tegra 3 processor and provides upto 14 hours of HD video playback on mobile phones. iOS 6.0.2 review: Should you update to iOS 6.0.2?
Apple rolled out iOS 6.0.2 update for iPhone 5 and iPad mini. This is a second minor update to iOS 6 which aimed at fixing Wi-Fi issues which were persistent even after iOS 6.0.1 update. This update was brought ahead of iOS 6.1 which would be first major update after the launch of iOS 6. Samsung announces Galaxy Grand.
Samsung announced latest member of the Galaxy family Galaxy Grand.This device features a 5-inch WVGA screen and runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. Galaxy Grand is powered by a 1.2 GHz Dual Core processor and has 1 GB of RAM, it comes with 8 GB built in memory which can be expanded upto 64 GB with a microSD card. It has an 8 megapixel camera at the back with 1080p video recording and 2 megapixel front facing camera that will offer 720p video for video calls. iOS 6.0.1 Available for update.
iOS 6.0.1 update is now available for iDevice owners. This download is available OTA(over the air) and also via iTunes. The update is said to fix a bug where horizontal lines may be displayed across the keyboard and fixes an issue that could cause camera flash to not go off. iOS 6.0.1 also improves reliability of iPhone 5 and iPod touch(5th generation) when connected to encrypted WPA2 Wi-Fi networks. Phil Schiller: iPad mini has Stereo speakers.
On Sunday Amazon unveiled a comparison chart on its home page putting its Kindle Fire HD up against Apple’s iPad mini. All stats showed Kindle Fire HD superior to iPad mini, in those stats was a statement that Kindle Fire HD has dual stereo speakers and iPad mini has a mono speaker. Responding to this Apple’s Marketing chief Phil Schiller said that iPad mini indeed offer stereo speakers. In fact iPad mini is the first of iPad’s family to offer stereo speakers, even the 4th generation iPad comes with a single speaker.
HTC One X+ with 1.7GHz quad-core processor Launched.
HTC One X was a great smartphone and the maker of this phone has launched HTC One X+ with higher specifications. The phone has the exact same looks as of its predecessor HTC One X but major changes have been made on the inside. HTC One X+ is powered by 1.7GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor. It has 2x more memory than the HTC One X, it means it has 64GB built-in storage. HTC also said that they have added unto 50% more battery to the new HTC One X+ compared to HTC One X. Microsoft Surface with Windows RT.
Microsoft has been working on a tablet since very long time, and they finally came out with Microsoft Surface which is a tablet but feels and looks different from lot of contemporary tablets out there.
