Apple announced that iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will go on sale in India on October 17th, 2014. We also have the official pricing for both the smartphones; The 16GB variant of the iPhone 6 will be available at Rs. 53,500 and 16 GB variant of the iPhone 6 Plus will retail at Rs. 62,500. Apple’s authorised distributor Ingram Micro today announced that it will start pre-booking of latest iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus from October 7, pre-booking facility will be across its 1,200 retail outlets in top 24 cities besides booking facility on its website.
The 64GB version of the iPhone 6 will be available at Rs 62,500, while the 128GB of the phone will cost Rs 71,500. The 64GB version of the iPhone 6 Plus will cost Rs 71,500 and the 128GB version of the phone will set you back Rs 80,500.
Last year, at the launch, iPhone 5S retailed at Rs.53,500 for 16GB, Rs.62,500 for 32GB and Rs.71,500 for 64GB variant, This year iPhone 6 starts at same price of Rs.53,500 for 16GB but at Rs.62,500 you will get 64GB of storage instead of 32GB and Rs.71,500 you will get 128GB which was not available with the iPhone 5S. Which means going for higher storage will get you a better deal compared to last year.
